Alvie Khandaker Scholarship
Kazi Hedayet Hossain Girls High School.
The Kazi Hedayet Hossain Girls High School was established in memory of Alvie’s grandfather, Kazi Hedayet Hossain who died on the 18th of August, 1975. Alvie’s dream was to be a Doctor. He was always an honor roll student, from Junior Kindergarten until Grade 11, and understood the power of improving one’s knowledge and understanding of the world.
The Alvie Khandaker Scholarship was started in 2011 in memory of Alvie to provide a platform for impoverished girls to achieve academic excellence.
Alvie’s scholarship is offered to 50 girls from Gr. 6 to Gr. 10, with 10 girls chosen from each grade. Selections are based on the academic record of the students. The scholarship helps them buy books or pay tuition fees and inspires them to work harder to achieve academic success.

Alvie Khandaker – Free Medicine
The Kazi Hedayet Hossain Diabetis Centre was established in memory of Alvie’s grandfather, Kazi Hedayet Hossain who died on the 18th of August, 1975.
Rajbary, Dhunchi is a rural, impoverished area in Bangladesh. Many people cannot afford to pay for the insulin and needles needed for their diabetic treatment. Every month, free insulin and needles are given to 12 diabetic people to help them taking care of their health.
Reconstruction of Mosque
Mosque was established in 1918. Mosque land was donated by our Great Grandparents and Grandparents, it’s right beside Monakka Alvie Girls Orphanage.
The condition of the mosque was not well and due to that took the initiative to rebuild the mosque again. With everybody’s support, the Mosque’s reconstruction finished in January 2018. Sincere gratitude to everybody, without your help, this unique project would not be possible.
May Allah’s blessing be upon all whoever was part of this project, the people who are attending this mosque to pray, the students who come in the morning to learn the Qur’an. May Allah bless our Great-Grandparents, Grandparents, Fathers, Mothers and our heavenly baby Alvie and grand them all Jannatul Ferdouse. May Allah accept this sincere effort, keep us all safe under His Divine guidance, the security of umbrella and show us the right path.
